Taigun Highline Plus

The Taigun Highline Plus comes with both manual (MT) and automatic (AT) transmission options, priced at ₹14.27 lakh for the MT variant and ₹15.37 lakh for the AT. Virtus Highline Plus

The Virtus Highline Plus also offers both two-pedal (automatic) and three-pedal (manual) transmission choices, with the MT priced at ₹13.88 lakh and the AT at ₹14.98 lakh. These prices are an increase of ₹86,000 for the MT and ₹81,000 for the AT compared to the regular Highline trims, making the Highline Plus a step up in luxury and functionality.

Feature Upgrades Across Taigun and Virtus Highline Plus Variants

Both the Taigun and Virtus Highline Plus variants are loaded with upgraded features compared to the standard Highline trim. These include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), push-button start, sunroof, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a “follow-me-home” function for the headlamps. These enhancements aim to elevate the driving experience by offering advanced tech and convenience.

Engine and Performance

Both models are powered by Volkswagen’s efficient 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine, producing 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter automatic, offering drivers a choice between dynamic engagement and seamless automation.

Expanding Lineup and Future Upgrades

Volkswagen’s comprehensive trim lineup for both the Taigun and Virtus showcases the company’s commitment to diversifying its offerings for a wider audience. In addition, recent reports indicate that both models are set to receive facelifts by 2026, which are expected to bring further enhancements and added value to the lineup.
