Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has released a teaser for the updated Perak, set to launch today. The teaser video hints at several changes expected on the 2024 Jawa Perak. Among the updates showcased in the teaser are a new quilted seat cover, a refreshed instrument console, a redesigned fuel tank lid, and updated badging on the tank, now labeled ‘Perak’ instead of ‘Jawa’.
Additionally, mechanical revisions may include a tweaked engine borrowed from the recently launched 350 model, promising improved refinement levels for the updated Perak. The new Jawa 350 boasts a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, delivering 22bhp and 28.2Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Furthermore, comparisons with the 42 Bobber revealed differences in ergonomics, suggesting a slightly more upright stance for the Perak as well. Expectations indicate that signature features such as the slash-cut exhaust, telescopic front forks, monoshock, and single brake discs at both ends will likely remain unchanged, mounted on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels. Currently priced at Rs. 2,13,187 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2024 model of the Perak may see a slight increase in cost with the anticipated updates.
