Ultraviolette Automotive has officially begun exporting its F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle to Europe. The F77 Mach 2 was recently launched in India with a starting price of Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This step into the European market represents a major achievement for the company, which has designed and developed the motorcycle entirely in India. Ultraviolette had previously signaled its intention to expand into Europe when it showcased the F77 at the 2024 Motobike Istanbul Show in Turkey.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 currently holds the title of the fastest electric motorcycle made in India. It is available in two variants: Standard and Recon. The Standard model is powered by a 27kW permanent magnet AC motor, while the Recon variant is equipped with a more powerful 30kW motor. The F77 Mach 2 Recon can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in just 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 100kmph in 7.7 seconds, with a top speed of 155kmph for both versions.
In terms of battery capacity, the Standard model comes with a 7.1kWh battery, while the Recon variant features a larger 10.3kWh battery. These provide an IDC range of 211km and 323km, respectively. Key features of the F77 Mach 2 include Hill Hold, a color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and 10 levels of regenerative braking, including the option to switch it off entirely.
In other developments, Ultraviolette recently showcased the F99 electric motorcycle in India, with ambitions to set new quarter-mile and top-speed records using this model.
