Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced the Rumion MPV to the Indian market in August 2023, with prices starting at Rs. 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, the automaker implemented a price hike across all variants of this model, a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, increasing them by up to Rs. 15,000. Available in three variants – S, G, and V – and offered in five exterior colour options, the Rumion now sees a price increase of Rs. 5,000 for automatic variants and Rs. 15,000 for manual variants. Following this adjustment, the Rumion’s price range extends from Rs. 10.44 lakh to Rs. 11.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
Under the hood, the Rumion is powered by a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter unit. Additionally, it can be equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The petrol engine delivers 102bhp and 137Nm of torque, while in CNG mode, it produces 86bhp and 121Nm of torque.
