BYD India has announced a surge in demand for the seven-seat variant of its newly launched eMax7 electric MPV. Priced at ₹60,000 more than the six-seat model, the seven-seat version offers the same impressive features and driving range.
In addition, BYD has noted a growing interest in the higher-spec Superior variant, having received 1,000 bookings for the eMax7 since its launch on October 8. This figure already surpasses the total sales of the e6, which sold 1,700 units during its market presence. It’s important to highlight that the e6 launched during the economic recovery following multiple lockdowns and faced the challenge of establishing BYD’s footprint in the private market segment for the first time. Furthermore, the automaker has reported that the Superior variant, along with white and silver color options, is seeing the highest demand.
