Maruti Suzuki recently unveiled the fourth-generation Dzire in India, starting at an introductory price of ₹6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest iteration has garnered significant attention, especially after securing a prestigious five-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests.
According to a newly surfaced video online, the base LXi variant of the 2024 Dzire has started arriving at dealerships across the country. The updated compact sedan is available in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.
The entry-level LXi variant features projector headlamps, a redesigned grille with horizontal slats, refreshed front and rear bumpers, 14-inch steel wheels, and sleek new LED taillights. Inside, the Dzire offers modern amenities such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control (HHC), remote keyless entry, adjustable front headrests, and a tilt-adjustable steering wheel for enhanced comfort and safety.
Under the hood, the new Dzire is powered by a 1.2-liter Z Series petrol engine, paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Additionally, a CNG variant is available, boasting an impressive claimed fuel efficiency of 33.73 km/kg.
