Earlier this week, Honda Cars India unveiled the first teaser for the upcoming next-generation Amaze. We now know that the updated version of Honda’s popular sub-four-meter sedan will make its debut in India on December 4, 2024.
According to the teaser, the 2024 Amaze will adopt several design cues from the current Honda City. Expected exterior updates include all-LED headlights, a sleek single-slat grille, refined front and rear bumpers, and a new alloy wheel design. Additionally, the rear section is set to receive updated LED taillights for a more modern look.
Inside, the new Amaze is anticipated to showcase an upgraded interior theme, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and a range of enhancements inspired by the City’s interior. These updates aim to offer a more premium experience to drivers and passengers alike.
Under the hood, the new Amaze will maintain its current technical specifications, powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine delivering 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. It will continue to be offered with both a five-speed manual and a CVT transmission.
Upon launch, the new Honda Amaze will compete with other popular models in its class, including the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the latest Maruti Dzire.
