Last month, JSW MG Motor India introduced the Windsor EV, a new electric vehicle starting at an ex-showroom price of ₹9.99 lakh with the innovative Battery as a Service (BaaS) option, or ₹13.5 lakh for an outright purchase. The Windsor EV received an overwhelming response, amassing over 15,000 registrations within the first 24 hours of booking. Recently, in celebration of the launch, MG held a large-scale delivery event in Bangalore, handing over 101 Windsor EVs to excited customers.
The Windsor EV is available in three distinct variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Customers can also choose from four attractive color options—Clay Beige, Turquoise Green, Starburst Black, and Pearl White. This model marks a first for MG, being offered with the BaaS option, a feature that will soon extend to the MG ZS EV and MG Comet EV.
Under the hood, the Windsor EV is powered by a 38kWh battery pack across all variants, delivering a claimed range of 331 km on a single charge. The electric motor generates 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, supported by four drive modes and three regenerative braking levels, giving drivers flexibility and efficiency on the road.
