Maruti Suzuki is set to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) early next year. In anticipation of this development, the carmaker is extensively testing the eVX across the country. Recent spy images have unveiled what appears to be the production-spec design of the new alloy wheels.
Exterior Design The images reveal that this Hyundai Creta EV rival will sport a fresh five-spoke design for the alloy wheels. Depending on the variant, these wheels may come in either a blacked-out or diamond-cut finish. Additionally, the mid-size electric SUV will feature black cladding on its side profile and wheel arches.
Other Features The 2025 Maruti eVX will boast several new design elements and features, including LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and C-pillar-mounted rear door handles. Inside, the SUV will come equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a revamped center console, a rotary dial for drive modes, a front center armrest, and dual-tone upholstery.
Powertrain and Range Maruti Suzuki is expected to offer the eVX with a battery pack coupled with an electric motor, likely having a capacity of 55-60kWh. This powertrain is projected to deliver a range of 500km on a single full charge.
Competition Upon its launch, the Maruti eVX will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV, Honda Elevate EV, and Tata Harrier EV.
