Mahindra introduced the XUV 3OO in India in April this year. Now, five months after its launch, the automaker has announced the first price increase for its updated sub-four-metre SUV. The XUV 3OO will see a price hike of up to Rs. 30,000, affecting the MX1 1.2 petrol MT, AX5 1.2 petrol AT, MX2 1.2 petrol MT, and AX5 1.2 petrol MT variants. Additionally, the MX3 1.2 petrol AT, AX5L 1.2 petrol MT, AX5L 1.2 petrol AT, MX2 Pro 1.2 petrol MT, MX3 1.2 petrol MT, and MX2 Pro 1.2 petrol AT variants will now be priced Rs. 25,000 higher.
For diesel versions, customers purchasing the MX2 Pro 1.5 diesel MT, MX3 1.5 diesel MT, MX3 1.5 diesel AMT, AX5 1.5 diesel MT, and AX5 1.5 diesel AMT variants will need to pay Rs. 10,000 more than the previous prices. Prices for all other variants remain unchanged.
As a result of the price adjustment, the XUV 3OO now ranges from Rs. 7.79 lakh for the base MX1 1.2 petrol MT variant to Rs. 15.49 lakh for the top-spec AX7L 1.2 petrol AT model. Competing against rivals like the Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza, the XUV 3OO is available with three engine and transmission options, offering customers a choice of eight colours and nine different variants.
