Lexus has launched its flagship coupe – LC 500h in India at Rs. 1.96 crores (ex-showroom, India). It’s a 2-door performance coupe that is brought in, via CBU route under the new 2500-car import rule.
The car boasts a sharp design language, and the interior comes loaded with features. It gets many customisation options too.
It is powered by a 3.6L, V6, petrol engine, that produces 300 BHP and 348 Nm of torque. It works simultaneously with an electric motor that churns out 180 BHP. The combined output of both these motors is of 354 BHP, and it is sent to the car’s rear wheels via an intelligent gearbox that combines the 4-speed automatic with the CVT. The LC 500h accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed time of 4.7 seconds. Here only the V6 engine is offered while the international markets also get the 5L, V8 engine option.
Along with the LC 500h, the Japanese luxury carmaker also launched the locally-assembled (CKD) Lexus ES 300h and NX 300h models.
The Lexus ES 300h Exquisite and Luxury trims are priced at Rs. 51.90 lakhs and Rs. 56.95 lakhs, respectively. The Lexus NX 300h Exquisite, Luxury and F Sport trims are priced at Rs. 54.90 lakhs, Rs. 59.90 lakhs and Rs. 60.60 lakhs, respectively. Please note that all the prices are ex-showroom, India.
