Kawasaki launched its mean machine – the ninja H2 in India last week. It was first revealed to the world last year.
The Ninja H2 with a litre-class engine is a super high performance motorcycle and is placed at the upper end of the performance bike segment. The engine on this motorcycle comes with a supercharged engine which makes the bike to be the first with such an engine in its litre-class segment.
The bike is launched at Rs. 29 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) at an event at the Buddh International Circuit (New Delhi).
About the styling and design of this motorcycle, it looks mean and aggressive on the looks front. The H2 is sure to grab attention and eyeballs wherever it goes.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is powered by a 998cc, inline-four-cylinder supercharged engine that churns out power in excess of 200 PS (210 PS with Ram air) and 133 Nm of torque. If you think 200 PS on this bike is crazy, then let us mention that the race-track oriented version of the Ninja H2, i.e. H2R belts out even more power at 300 BHP (it’s not coming to India though). The H2 also comes with ABS and dual Brembo discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. The sprint from 0-100 km/hr takes 2.5 seconds while it is capable of reaching a top speed of 300 km/hr.
Only 5 motorcycles are planned for India out of which one is bought by MS Dhoni, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team. Rest other bikes are mostly sold out in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
