Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has initiated deliveries for its latest model, the NX500, priced at Rs. 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in three color options – Grand Prix Red, Pearl Horizon White, and Gunpowder Black, the NX500 succeeds the CB500X.
It features a rugged design with a single-piece LED headlight and transparent visor. Powered by a 471cc parallel-twin engine producing 47bhp at 8,600rpm and 43Nm at 6,500rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist/slipper clutch. The NX500 boasts LED lights, a five-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth and navigation, switchable traction control, and ABS.
Riding on Showa 41mm Separate Function Big Piston front USD forks and a five-step adjustable linked rear shock, it comes with dual-channel ABS and competes with the Benelli TRK 502 and Kawasaki Versys 650.
