LiveWire, the electric motorcycle division of Harley-Davidson, has unveiled its latest model, the S2 Mulholland, now available in the United States for a price of USD 15,999 (around Rs. 13.37 lakh, excluding taxes). This launch marks the fourth model in LiveWire’s lineup.
Setting itself apart from the S2 Del Mar and S2 Del Mar Le, the S2 Mulholland features a unique design that mirrors the classic chopper style with its tall handlebar and overall stance. The motorcycle is fitted with a flat handlebar, bar-end mirrors, and a digital instrument console positioned at the center, projecting a modern yet timeless appeal.
The propulsion for the S2 Mulholland comes from a 10.5kWh battery paired with a 63kW electric motor. This combination delivers a range of up to 195 kilometers and can achieve a maximum speed of 160 km/h. It also boasts modern features such as LED lighting, a four-inch TFT display with smartphone integration, voice command capabilities, over-the-air software updates, navigation, and multiple riding modes.
In terms of its build, the S2 Mulholland utilizes a cast aluminum frame with fully adjustable Hitachi front forks and a mono-shock that is adjustable for preload and rebound, ensuring a refined riding experience. Braking is managed by Brembo M4.32 calipers, complemented by 19-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum wheels. The motorcycle has a total weight of 195 kg, which is comparatively heavier.
Although Harley-Davidson does not currently offer any electric motorcycles for sale in India, the LiveWire brand is listed. For those in India seeking a high-performance electric motorcycle, the Ultraviolette F77 is a recommended alternative.
