Harley-Davidson to Launch Breakout Cruisers and CVO Limited on 30th October

Harley-Davidson is set to launch the Breakout Cruisers and CVO Limited on 30th of this month.

The CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) is a division of Harley-Davidson which developrs talled and more customised versions. The CVOs are known to be more expensive than the rest of the lineup and prices can range upto Rs. 50 lakh for some models. Another reason for the high price is because the bikes are brought in as CBUs. Powering the CVO Limited you have a 1,800cc, twin-cooled, twin cam 110, liquid cooled engine producing 156 Nm of torque @ 3,750 RPM. Equipment includes LED headlamps, ABS on Brembo brakes, lot of chrome bits, 6.5″ infotainment screen etc. Fuel economy is rated at 5.7 litres / 100 km.

The Breakout will be a part of the Softail lineup and should be locally assembled to bring down costs. The Breakout could cost higher than the Fat-Boy by Rs. 1 – 1.5 lakh. It is powered by a 1,690cc, air-cooledm TwinCam 103B petrol engine producing 130 Nm of torque @ 3,000 RPM. Fuel efficiency is rated at 5.6 litres / 100 km. The bike features raked front fork, lot of chrome bits, black and chrome alloy wheels, chopper style rear fender, riser-mounted speedo console and an overall low slung design.
