Good times are rolling for Gujarat Polic as they get Harley-Davidson Street 750s and the Sportster – Superlows’.
For the Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015, the Gujarat Police have purchased 225 Mahindra Bolero SUVs of colour White. Many of these SUVs will be used for the Vibrant summit, after which they will be sent to districts. About 225 large vehicles will be used to transport the Police force.
Gujarat Police have also purchased 350 motorcycles, 23 of which are to be distributed to Gandhinagar police. Police now also get some Harely Davidson Superbikes – whose prices start at Rs. 4.30 & 6.10 Lakhs in its possession. These Cruisers will be used for escorting and piloting of VIP convoys.
These motorcycles are accessorized with warning lights, sirens and wireless communicators.

The Street 750 is the most affordable offered by Harley-Davidson in the Indian market and is powered by a 749 cc Engine. The Superlow comes with a slightly more powerful 883cc Air-cooled, Evolution engine than the Street 750. The Street 750 has been awarded as the Indian Motorcycle of the Year (IMOTY) for the year 2014.
