Harley-Davidson has launched its 1200 Custom motorcycle, as an another addition motorcycle to its Sportster family in India at Rs. 8.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 1200 Custom is the replacement version for the recently discontinued Harley-Davidson SuperLow.
This Sportster 1200 Custom motorcycle will be brought in India via the CKD route and will be assembled at Harley-Davidson’s facility plant in Haryana.
The 1200 Custom gets a rubber-mounter 1202cc, air-cooled engine which produces 96 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. The bike gets a primary chain driveline of 38/57 ratio. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Michelin tyres are offered as standard.
