Ducati has finally launched the much awaited XDiavel in India at a starting price of Rs. 15.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
With the launch of the XDiavel in the Indian market, Ducati has entered in to the cruiser motorcycle’s segment in India.
The XDiavel is offered in two variants – the regular XDiavel (matt black colour) and the XDiavel S (gloss black colour). They are priced at Rs. 15,69,831/- and Rs. 18,27,098/-, ex-showroom, Pune, respectively.
The XDiavel is powered by a Euro IV compliant, Ducati Testastretta DVT, 1262cc engine. It produces 156 BHP of power and 128.9 Nm of torque. Like the outgoing Diavel, the XDiavel also gets three riding modes – Sport (156 BHP), Touring (156 BHP) and Urban (100 BHP). The transmission drives through a 6-speed gearbox and a belt-type final transmission.
Electronics on the bike consists of the ride-by-wire system, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Cornering ABS and Ducati Power Launch (DPL), hands-free-ignition and cruise control. The dashboard consists of a TFT screen with four different display modes.
The XDiavel S is also equipped with a bluetooth connectivity that enables the rider to view incoming calls, messages and music playlist via his/her smartphone.
A total of 60 ergonomic configurations can be made, including a three way adjustable feet-forward riding position.
