Ducati India has launched its seventh motorcycle, the Ducati SuperSport in India today. Th Ducati SuperSport is offered in two versions, the SuperSport and the SuperSport S.
The Ducati SuperSport is priced at Rs. 12.08 lakhs and the SuperSport S is priced at Rs. 13.39 lakhs, both prices being ex-showroom, India, respectively.
Both these bikes share the same engine and gearbox but are equipped with different suspensions and features. It uses a Testastretta, L-Twin (V-Twin), 937 cc engine. It produces 110 BHP at 9,000 rpm and a max torque of 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The SuperSport gets three riding modes – Sport, Touring and Urban which act on the Ride-by-Wire, ABS and DTC of the bike so as to modify the behavior of the bike according to the riding mode and conditions. Bike’s Ducati Safety Pack (DSP) includes Bosch 9MP ABS and Ducati Traction Control which enhances the performance and control of the bike on lesser grippy surfaces.
The SuperSport S version comes with a fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down system, and a rear seat cover. The DQS and the rear seat cover is also available as accessories for the SuperSport version.
