Hero MotoCorp has launched the Splendor Pro Classic Cafe Racer style motorcycle, which was showcased at Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year. This Classic motorcycle has arrived at dealerships.

Yes, there is a change in its engine. it has got a Max. Power of 6.15 kW (8.36 Ps) @ 8000 rpm whilst the regular Splendor Pro has a Max. Power of 5.74 KW (7.8 Ps) @ 7500 rpm.

Motorcycle is priced at Rs. 53,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is priced at Rs. 57,000(ex-showroom, Pune).

Splendor Pro Classic is the cheapest Cafe Racer to be offered by Hero MotoCorp in India and also in the whole world. Classic is the third entry level Cafe Racer in the country after Royal Enfield Continental GT535 and Triumph Thruxton. These two are incomparable by any other means with Splendor Pro Classic as they are veryy powerful and very expensive. Continental GT535 is priced at Rs. 1.89 lakhs and Thruxton at Rs. 6.67 lakhs (ex-Delhi).

The styling seems to be well executed so much that it doesn’t look like an after market job. The round lights, round mirrors, chrome mudguard and spoke wheels are the highlight of this bike. While people in urban markets won’t take to this motorcycle with ease, the Splendor Pro Classic is bound to be a hot seller in rural markets where the concept of an affordable cafe racer is sure to attract customers. The Splendor Pro Classic becomes the cheapest cafe racer in the world while the other locally made cafe racer bike in India is the Continental GT by Royal Enfield.
