BMW launches the M6 Gran Coupé car in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.71 Crores. The car is available at all the BMW dealerships across India. This M6 will be brought in India via the CBU route. Along with the launch of BMW M6 Gran Coupé, BMW also launched a BMW M-Studio in Mumbai.
M6 Gran Coupé:
Under the hood, the car houses a M TwinPower Turbocharged 8-cylinder petrol engine. This motor generates a power of 560 BHP and 680 Nm of torque. These numbers are available at all times because of its new innovative concept, the TwinScroll turbocharging. The car also gets BMW EfficientDynamics technology. These technology and innovation’s combination helps the car to return a mileage of 10.10 km/l. Its engine is mated to a 7-speed double clutch transmission with drivelogic and the power and torque is transferred to its rear wheels. This M6 does 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h.
The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé has numerous features like the BMW ConnectedDrive, driver assist system. It also includes the next generation of BMW iDrive (the on-board Driver Information System) with touch controller, BMW Navigation Professional (integrated Global Positioning System – GPS) with 25.9 cm colour display with 3D maps, full-colour BMW Head-Up Display with M-specific views, Bluetooth and USB Connectivity, high-end Surround Sound system from Bang & Olufsen and BMW Apps. Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front along with rear view camera comes as standard on this car.
BMW M Studio:
The flagship store – BMW M Studio is solely dedicated to only BMW M brand and its entire car range. This store is opened by BMW under its dealership Infinity Cars. It is situated at Savoy Chambers, Near Juhu Garden, Santacruz (W), Mumbai. By end of 2016, BMW India will expand the network of ‘BMW M Studios’ to seven major cities in India through dealerships in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
The current BMW M range available in India includes the BMW M3 Sedan, the BMW M4 Coupé, the BMW M5 Sedan and the BMW M6 Gran Coupé. The BMW X5M and the BMW X6M will soon join the M family in India.
The ‘BMW M Studio’ showcases the M range of cars and exciting M Accessories Packages. The showroom has been designed to give a unique feel of the BMW M brand. Customers will have an opportunity of exploring the products and requesting for a test drive. The M Studio also features a lifestyle section where customers can purchase exciting M Accessories.
