BMW Motorrad India has introduced a new color option for its entry-level sportbike, the G310 RR, called Racing Blue Metallic. This striking new shade features blue as the primary color, complemented by stylish red, white, and black decals on the side fairing. It will be available alongside the existing white variant with M Sport graphics and the Cosmic Black 2 color option. The BMW G310 RR is priced at Rs. 3.05 lakh, ex-showroom.
Aside from the new color, the motorcycle remains unchanged in all other aspects. Its bodywork is almost identical to the TVS Apache RR 310, with a few minor differences. However, the BMW version lacks some features present in its TVS counterpart. The G310 RR comes equipped with full-LED lighting, a vertical color TFT screen, a ride-by-wire system, dual-channel ABS, and four riding modes that offer varying levels of ABS intervention and throttle responses. The motorcycle has an 11-liter fuel tank and a kerb weight of 174kg.
Powering the G310 RR is a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. The bike is built on a tubular steel trellis frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, supported by non-adjustable USD forks at the front and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by single discs at both ends, with varying diameters.
