Bajaj Motorcycles has been testing the Pulsar RS 200 in the country since a long time. Finally, the production ready bike will be launched in India on the 26th of March i.e. tomorrow.
This motorcycle is supposed to be a 200cc beast in a full faired version of Pulsar at a very nominal price. The bike’s design is good and aerodynamic.
The RS of RS 200 stands for RACE SPORT and now this clears our confusion and also of many other customers. The bike is equipped with MRF Zapper S Tyres which provide good cornering stability. The bike comes with an option of ABS too.
The Pulsar RS 200 also gets some segment first features like LED indicators, pilot lamps, projector headlamps and crystal LED tail lamps. Like the Turkish variant, the bike is equipped with Fuel Injection System and the RS 200 produces 24.4 PS of power and 18.6 Nm of torque which will make it sufficiently fast for Indian roads and is so called as the Fastest Pulsar yet.
The bike has already started to get delivered at its dealerships so as to minimize the waiting period of the bike.
The RS 200 will compete with Suzuki Gixxer SF which is also launching next month. The RS 200 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
