Aston Martin has unveiled the latest iteration of its two-door sports coupe, the Vantage, in India, with a price tag of Rs. 3.99 crore (ex-showroom). This British supercar has received a significant update, featuring refreshed exterior design, an enhanced powertrain, and a redesigned interior. Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024.
At the heart of the new Vantage is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, sourced from Mercedes-AMG. This powerhouse is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering an impressive 656bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. With these figures, the Vantage is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.5 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 325kmph.
In terms of design, the updated Vantage sports a more aggressive look, highlighted by a larger grille that nearly spans the entire front bumper, and vertical air curtains positioned at both ends. High-performance LED headlamps, revised fender air ducts, a subtly redesigned rear bumper, a new diffuser, and 21-inch alloy wheels finished in Satin Silver further enhance its sporty appearance.
Inside the cabin, the Vantage has undergone a significant transformation. Moving away from its previous Mercedes-inspired interior, the new model features bespoke elements, including a redesigned cockpit and a new 10.25-inch infotainment screen. This screen runs on an updated user interface that offers wireless smartphone connectivity and 3D live mapping. The audio experience is elevated with a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, while other notable features include a new steering wheel, physical toggles for most controls, automatic climate control, and powered seats.
Overall, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage combines high-performance engineering with luxurious design and cutting-edge technology, making it a standout option in the supercar segment in India.
