2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Launched In India At Rs. 9.98 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom)

The new BS-IV variant of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has been lauched in India at Rs. 9.98 lakhs, ex-showroom, pan India. This is the CKD version which will be assembled at the company’s new plant in Chakan, Pune and that is what has made the company to price it so aggressively.

The earlier version was priced at Rs. 12.50 lakhs, ex-showroom. Bookings for the new bike have started and as of now there are only 20 bikes available in India.

The 2017 model gets a new design as it gets a two-piece front fairing which is more attractive and it is wider as well. It also gets LED headlamps and the bike is also fitted with a taller windscreen which can be adjusted manually.

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 uses the same 1043cc, four-cylinder engine from its previous version but it is now a BS-IV compliant engine. ABS, Kawasaki traction control and wheelie control are the new electronic rider aids equipped on this motorcycle.

The bike is made available in two color options which are the Black and the Kawasaki Green.
