From the spied picture, what can be made out of the new generation KTM Duke 390 is that, it has undergone some design changes with an all-new split headlight, new bikini fairing which is stretched out till the headlight, tank and front fender too get a new design. The tank’s geometry is revised and the trellis frame seems to have got a new dual tone paint scheme.

And from the earlier spy shots, the most significant changes that the 2017 KTM Duke 390 gets are the larger 320 mm Brembo brakes upfront with ABS and a side mounted exhaust.

The bike is said to be unveiled at the 2016 EICMA Show in November this year and its launch in India can be expected in the next year.

Mechanically the engine is said to be improved so that it meets the Euro 4 norms. The specifications still remain to be disclosed but the outgoing Duke 390 produces 43.5 BHP of power at 9000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. A slight increase in the power figures can be expected.

The Austrian company is also planning to carry on these updates to the RC 390 as well. So, we will just have to sit back and look forward to the other spy shots in the coming months for more details.
