Mahindra has launched two new vehicles on the same platform named as Supro Van and Supro Maxitruck. The Mahindra Supro Van & Supro Maxitruck are priced at Rs. 4.38 Lakhs & Rs. 4.25 Lakhs respectively (BSIII, Ex-Showroom, Thane).
Mahindra has been good in the entry-level commercial segment and now they have come up with the Supro Maxitruck which they have launched it in the LCV segment where Tata has its Ace with the ACE family. The Supro Van has been launched in the passenger vehicle segment which rivals against the Maruti Suzuki Omni and Eeco.
The Supro Van and Supro Maxitruck are equipped with best-in-class features and are also priced well.
Mahindra Supro Van:
It is a stylish van which boasts modern interiors and comes in a 5 and 8 seater variants. The van is an ideal family traveler and also is an ideal vehicle for tours and travels business. This van also gets class leading interior space and comfort for 8 passengers. It also gets first-in-class Electric Power Steering and AC (5 Seater only).
Mahindra Supro Maxitruck:
The front of the maxitruck looks similar to the Supro Van and on inside it gets Electric Power Steering and AC (only in top variant). The cabin also features bottle holder and mobile charging point. The Supro Maxitruck comes with a payload capacity of 1 ton which is good at both inter and intra city travelings. The truck is targeted at market load operators and captive customers.
Supro Van and Supro Maxitruck Engine:
Both these vehicles get the same Mahindra’s powerful 909cc DI Turbo diesel engine which churns out 45 BHP at 3750 rpm of power and 98 Nm at 3000 rpm of torque. This diesel engine helps the Van to return a class leading mileage of 23.5 km/l and the Maxi Truck to return a best-in-class mileage of 22.4 km/l.
Further more for customer’s peace of mind, Mahindra offers a class-leading warranty of 2 years or 60k kms (whichever is earlier) on both these vehicles.
