Ken Block is going old-school for his next Gymkhana video, but with a twist.

At the opening of the 2014 SEMA show in Vegas, there was bound to be plenty to look at, there was one car that stood above the rest in terms of total insanity and overall kickassery. That car being the all-wheel drive, 845-horsepower is a 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn imagined by Ken Block.

It’s essentially a 65 Mustang, slammed, stretched, and covered in Block’s racing gear. And those 845 horses? Well they reside in a Roust Yates 410 cubic inch V8. It also features a six-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive— that’s right, all-wheel drive on a Mustang. Seriously, it’s insane.

The project took nearly two years to build at ASD Motorsports in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is getting a starring role in Block’s Gymkhana 7 video, which has already been shot, but no word yet on when it drops. Goodbye Fiesta, hello monster Mustang.

It’s a far cry from the compact rally cars he’s usually sliding around in, and ties in perfectly with the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang this year. He is a factory driver, after all.
