The Aprilia Tuono 457, a street naked motorcycle, is anticipated to be launched in India in January 2025. The bike was officially revealed at EICMA last month and is built on the same platform as the Aprilia RS457, but with a distinct design tailored for street riding enthusiasts.

While it shares its foundation with the RS457, the Tuono 457 stands out with its unique styling. Features like the LED headlamp with integrated DRLs, a prominent fuel tank, and a slim rear profile give the bike an unmistakable street naked look. Adding to its rugged appeal are the exposed aluminium twin-spar frame and tank extensions.

Powering the Tuono 457 is a 457cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and the bike may also offer an optional quickshifter for smoother gear transitions.

The chassis is built with performance in mind, featuring a USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear for optimal suspension. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring solid stopping power.

In terms of features, the Tuono 457 is well-equipped, offering all-LED lighting, traction control, multiple ride modes, ABS, and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience and control.

Once launched, the Tuono 457 will compete with rivals such as the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03, and BMW G 310 R, offering a compelling option in the street naked motorcycle segment.
