BMW has unveiled the seventh-generation M5 performance sedan in India, priced from ₹1.99 crore (ex-showroom). The premium offering, brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), showcases cutting-edge technology, exhilarating performance, and luxury design.
Power and Performance
The 2024 BMW M5 is equipped with a robust 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns out 585bhp and 750Nm of torque. Enhancing its powertrain is an 18.6kW battery pack paired with an electric motor that delivers 197bhp and 280Nm. Together, the system generates a staggering combined output of 727bhp and 1,000Nm, transmitted to all four wheels via BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The electric motor enables an emission-free range of up to 69 kilometers, with a top speed of 140kmph in electric mode. For adrenaline enthusiasts, the sedan accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.5 seconds, blending power with efficiency.

The new M5 flaunts an aggressive yet sophisticated design.
