Following the successful Swift launch, Maruti Suzuki’s next major release for the year is the new-generation Dzire, set to officially debut on November 4. However, ahead of the grand unveiling, images of the updated sedan have surfaced, showcasing its revamped exterior and interior details even before any official teasers.

Inside, the new Dzire cabin boasts a significant overhaul from its previous design, now bearing a close resemblance to the latest Swift. The centerpiece of the interior is the free-standing infotainment display, which sits prominently atop a three-tone, layered dashboard design. The redesigned air vents and HVAC panel are also borrowed from the new Swift model. Another noticeable update is the refreshed steering wheel, while the instrument panel retains its classic analog dials.

In terms of features, the new Dzire steps up with notable additions like cruise control, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, and an electric sunroof—an exclusive first for both the Dzire series and its segment.

Externally, the front and rear profiles see the most dramatic changes, with a redesigned grille, sleeker headlights equipped with DRLs, and newly styled taillights. The side profile, however, remains largely similar to the previous model except for updated alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the new Dzire will be powered by the 1.2-liter Z-series engine shared with the Swift. This engine will be paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, offering a maximum power output of 80 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque.

As a top contender in its category, the Maruti Dzire has long dominated the compact sedan market, competing with the Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze. With these fresh updates, the Dzire is well-positioned to enhance its popularity and drive even higher sales.
