Dacia has offered a first look at the production-ready version of its Bigster SUV ahead of its official unveiling at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The Bigster is essentially a larger, three-row version of the Duster and is set to arrive in India under both Renault and Nissan branding by 2025. This new SUV will feature distinct styling elements, including a unique front design, new wheels, and a redesigned rear section. Additionally, the Bigster will be longer than the Duster to accommodate a third row of seats.

Mechanically, the Bigster is expected to share its powertrains, features, and interior layout with the Duster. It is anticipated that Renault will offer both six-seat and seven-seat configurations, catering to a wider range of customer preferences.

The Bigster will be instrumental in Renault and Nissan’s entry into the competitive C-segment market, where it will rival popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. The addition of this SUV aims to strengthen their presence in this key segment.
