The 2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 has made its global debut, showcasing a range of updates, including fresh design elements. Here’s a closer look at the key highlights of this new motorcycle.

Husqvarna is renowned for its unique design language, and the Vitpilen 801 stays true to this reputation. The bike now features a bi-LED projector headlamp with an oval LED daytime running light (DRL), giving it a distinctive front-end appearance.

The fuel tank boasts sharp, angular lines that align with Husqvarna’s signature design aesthetic. A standout feature of the Vitpilen 801 is its sleek side panel, which seamlessly blends into the tail section, adding to the bike’s overall appeal. The design will undoubtedly be one of the bike’s strongest selling points.

Beneath its striking bodywork, the Vitpilen 801 is built on a steel frame supported by fully adjustable WP Apex upside-down forks and a monoshock. It rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Road 6 tires, ensuring grip and stability. The braking system consists of dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear for effective stopping power.

Powering the Vitpilen 801 is a 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers 105 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 87 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Known for its strong midrange performance and engaging character, the engine is one of the bike’s standout features.

The bike comes packed with a host of advanced features, including LED lighting, selectable ride modes, cornering traction control, and ABS with a Supermoto mode. This mode allows the rear ABS to be deactivated, enabling riders to lock the rear wheel and perform controlled slides.

All these settings can be customized via the bike’s Bluetooth-enabled TFT display, giving riders full control over their riding experience.

The 2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 is set to compete with models like the KTM 890 Duke, Triumph Street Triple R, and Kawasaki Z900, making it a formidable player in the naked bike segment.
