Citroen has introduced the Basalt, a coupe SUV that marks the brand’s entry into the growing coupe SUV segment. This new model is set to compete with established mid-size SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and others.
Citroen officially launched the Basalt last week, with prices starting at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier this week, the brand revealed the variant-wise pricing. The Basalt is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, available in both naturally aspirated (NA) and turbocharged versions.
