Kia India is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a significant milestone, having sold over 1 million units in just 59 months since its operations began. The Kia Seltos, the brand’s debut model in India, accounts for 48% of these sales, followed by the Sonet with 34% and the Carens with 16%.
Currently, Kia’s lineup in India includes the Sonet, Seltos, Carens, and EV6, with a new compact SUV, the Kia Clavis, set to launch in early 2025.
Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer at Kia India, expressed pride in achieving this milestone despite the challenges and competition in the Indian market. He thanked customers for their trust, making Kia one of the most loved car brands in the country.
