MG Motor recently announced its third electric vehicle for India, set to debut in mid-September under the name “Windsor.” The Windsor is based on the Cloud EV platform and MG has now unveiled its rear-seat package. The interior will feature a black and beige theme, with quilt-patterned seats offering a 135-degree recline. The spacious seat base, rear AC vent, central armrest, seat-back pockets, and bottle holders enhance comfort. Branded as “aero-lounge seats,” this package highlights MG’s focus on rear passenger luxury.

The Windsor will likely share exterior and interior design elements with the Cloud EV but with the new color scheme. Expected features include dual-digital displays, level-2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, connected car technology, and ambient lighting.

Positioned between the Comet and ZS, the Windsor is anticipated to compete with models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, as well as the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 in terms of pricing.
