Jaguar has entered India’s EV market by launching the all-electric I-PACE from Rs. 1.06 crores (ex-showroom, India).
The I-PACE is offered in three trims – S, SE, and top-end HSE. Standard fitments include 19″ diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED taillights, a full-length fixed glass roof, Pivi Pro dual touchscreen infotainment system, a smartphone pack with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and much more.
The vehicle is powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery delivering 394 BHP and 696 Nm torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and is capable of achieving a top speed of 200 km/h.
The battery can be charged using a 7.4 kW AC Charger, 25 kW DC Charger and 50 kW DC Charger. The 7.4 kW charger takes 14 hours to fully charge the battery, while the 25 kW and 50 kW chargers take 4 hours and 2 hours respectively.
Ownership of the new I-PACE leads to complimentary benefits of a Battery Warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 km, a Service Package for 5 years, Roadside Assistance for 5 years and a Wall Mounted 7.4 kW AC Charger.
Jaguar has tied-up with Tata Power to make their charging stations accessible to the I-PACE owners on a use and pay basis. The company has also installed 35+ DC Fast Chargers across their 22 dealerships, spread over 19 cities.
