While the 50th Anniversary (One or Two) have already been celebrated of the Shelby Cobra, now its the time of Shelby Cobra 427 model’s 50th Anniversary to be celebrated as the car holds up a legendary performance.
As its a half-century, only 50 Shelby Cobra 427s will be sold, which of all the cars will be bearing gold logos. A range of unique features will be offered to the customers. All the 50 examples will feature aluminum and fiberglass bodies which will also be offered in either Polished Aluminum or Guardsman Blue and Wimbledon White stripe exteriors. Fiberglass cars are offered only in the blue and white combo.
The cars will use the case running from CSX4550-CSX4599, and not only with these case numberings, the 50 cars will be specially badged from “1 of 50”, “2 of 50”, etc till the total run of 50 cars.
These 427s will also feature authentic elements of the car but with the consideration of modern standard materials. This will include, high-end leather upholstery , upgraded brakes, strong frame and the A-arm suspensions with coil-over shock absorbers.
Fiberglass 427 car prices start from Rs. 75.89 lakhs, while aluminum-bodied cars start at Rs. 1.14 crore, as the prices being already on the higher side they do not include the cost of an engine and transmission.
