Tata Motors has introduced the updated version of the Punch in India, with prices starting at Rs. 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This compact B-SUV, competing with models like the Citroen C3 and Hyundai Exter, comes with enhanced features and revisions to its variant lineup.
Among the new features for the 2024 Tata Punch are a USB Type-C charging port in the center console, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, and a front-row armrest.
The updated Punch now offers 10 variant options, including Pure, Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Adventure S, Adventure+ S, Accomplished+ S, Creative+, and Creative+ S. The color options remain unchanged from the previous model.
Under the hood, the Tata Punch continues to be powered by the familiar 1.2-liter, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox. Additionally, a CNG variant is available in seven different versions, catering to eco-conscious buyers.
