Suzuki has just launched the 2022 iteration of the GSX250R. The 250cc sportbike has only received a new Metallic Crystal Blue with Pearl Nebular Black paint scheme while mechanically staying the same. Interestingly, this colour scheme is the same as the 2020 model.

On the features front, the Suzuki GSX250R is offered with a halogen headlight, LED DRLs and taillight, dual-channel ABS, clip-on handlebars, five-way adjustable front brake lever, and a back-lit LCD instrument cluster that displays a tachometer, speedometer, time and gear position. However, this console misses out on smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

Powering the Suzuki GSX250R is a 248cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It produces 25PS and 23.3Nm.

The ride of the bike is taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and a 7-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. For braking, it employs a single disc at both ends with Nissin calipers that is further assisted by dual-channel ABS. The bike rolls on 17-inch ten-spoke wheels that come wrapped in tubeless tyres from IRC.
