TVS Motor Company has launched its all-new flagship scooter, the NTorq 125 in India at Rs. 60,850/- (Ex-Showroom, Pune). This new scooter is based on the concept scooter that was showcased by the company at 2016 Auto Expo.
TVS NTorq is powered by a new CVTi-Revv, 124.79cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine that churns out 9.3 BHP at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 5500 rpm. The company says that the third valve improves the performance of the engine with better acceleration and a top speed of 95 km/h. That makes it the most powerful scooter to be offered by the company so far.
It gets a Stealth Aircraft inspired styling and it is India’s first-ever connected scooter, as it features TVS SmartXonnect which is a state-of-the-art technology that communicates with the rider using a Bluetooth-enabled digital speedometer. By which the rider can view various information like call alerts, SMS alerts, missed call alerts, high-speed alert, phone battery, signal strength, trip report and last parked location.
Other features include unique Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), a pass-by switch, dual side steering lock, parking brakes and an engine kill switch. For more convenience, the NTorq 125 comes with an external fuel fill, USB charger, large under-seat storage and patented EZ center stand. The scooter comes with a Disc Brake at front to ensure maximum rider safety and rides on wider 110x80x12 tubeless tyres.
TVS NTorq 125 is made available in four colour options – Matte Yellow, Matte Green, Matte Red and Matte White.
