Tata has launched the facelift version of the Tigor in India at a price tag of Rs. 5.20 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car is made available in both petrol and diesel variants and they are priced at a starting price of Rs. 5.20 lakhs and Rs. 6.09 lakhs, respectively, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The car gets updates interior and exteriors but continues to be powered by the same 1.2L petrol and 1.05L diesel engines.
In terms of its exteriors, it features new dual chambered projector headlights with chrome finish, chrome-lined door handles, clear-lens taillights, new dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels, and gets chrome inserts on its diamond front grille, front bumper and fog lamp housings.
On the inside, it gets a new black and grey theme, titanium colour faux leather seats, new roof liner, 24 smart spaces and a 419-litres of boot space, while the newly added XZ+ top-spec variant gets a Harman-sourced 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto that also doubles as the reverse camera. It also gets height adjustable driver’s seat, auto-fold ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators and a shark-fin antenna.
The car remains mechanically unchanged and continues to use the same 1.2L petrol engine and 1.05L diesel engine. It is equipped with ABS with EBD and Corner Stability Control. The transmission assembly has been improved to reduce vibrations and to provide better performance. The top-spec petrol variant and diesel variants are offered with the manual transmission only while the lower spec petrol variants are also offered with AMT transmission.
