Royal Enfield has launched the new Classic Signals 350 ABS in India at a price tag of Rs. 1.62 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). It is the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to be sold in India with a dual-channel ABS.

The new Classic Signals 350 ABS pays homage and also celebrates the motorcycle’s 65 years of association with the Indian Armed Forces. The motorcycle is also priced at a premium of Rs. 15,000/- over the rear-disc brake equipped Classic 350 (non-ABS).

The Classic Signals 350 ABS will be available in two matte colours – Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand and both feature a brown coloured seat. Cosmetics updates on the motorcycle include blacked out chrome parts like the engine, crankcase cover, rims, handlebar, exhaust muffler and the headlight bezel. The bike’s tank also gets its unique production serial number stencilled in large font and also gets the Corps logo alongside.

The Classic Signals 350 ABS is powered by the same single-cylinder, 346cc engine that produces 19.8 BHP @ 5250 rpm and 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are carried out by 35mm telescopic front suspensions and twin gas-charged sock-absorbers at the rear. Braking performance comes from the 280mm front and 240mm rear ventilated discs with ABS.

The Classic Signals 350 Edition is also available with Flyscreen, Canvas Panniers, Engine Guards and Solo Rear Rack. The sales of this motorcycle will begin in a month’s time.
