2017 Renault Captur Launched In India At Rs. 9.99 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi)

Renault has launched the Captur crossover in India with prices starting from Rs. 9.99 lakhs to Rs. 13.88 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). These are introductory prices and you can expect them to change at any time in the future.

The Captur is offered in both petrol and Diesel engine options. The Petrol variant gets a 1.5L H4K engine which produces 106 PS @ 5600 rpm and 142 Nm @ 4000 rpm while the diesel variant gets the very familiar 1.5L K9K dci engine which also powers the Duster and Terrano. It produces 110 PS @ 3850 rpm and 240 Nm @ 1750 rpm.

The Captur is built on the MO Platform which also underpins the Duster but is longer and wider than the Duster. It gets a wheelbase of 2673mm and a ground clearance of 210mm.

The Captur is placed above the Duster and so is Renault’s premium offering in the Indian market currently. It is feature rich as it gets more than 50 features as standard. It gets sparkle full LED projector headlights with Audi-like floating indicators, LED ambient lighting on the inside, 7″ touchscreen with integrated navigation and maps, audio system with USB & Aux-in and Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition (for iOS). Other features include smart access card for keyless entry, R17 crystal cut alloys, dual airbags, Antilock-Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) & Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist, and Cruise Control with Speed Limiter.
