Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL) has launched its most advanced sports saloon, the all-new Jaguar XE in India with prices starting from Rs. 39.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new Jaguar XE has a true sporting character of the gorgeous Jaguar F-TYPE.
On the design front, the new XE gets upscale proportions. It gets F-TYPE inspired design cues, the signature J-Blade DRLs and some iconic Jaguar E-Type inspired design lines too. On the inside, it gets body hugging front seats for more sporty driving comfort and it also gets the 20.32 cm touchscreen for the new InControl Touch infotainment system while the instrument cluster is F-TYPE inspired and also gets spacious seats at the rear.
The Jaguar XE is amde available in two variants – XE Pure and XE Portfolio. The XE Pure gets a 2L Turbocharged Petrol engine that makes 197 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. The XE Portfolio gets a 2L Turbocharged Petrol engine which produces 237 BHP and 340 Nm of torque. Bothe engines are meshed with an 8-speed electronic automatic transmission. The 2L 237 BHP petrol engine achieves a class-leading acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and the XE Pure acheives it in 7.7 seconds.
Both of them get Aluminium-intensive Monocoque chassis, Torque Vectoring by braking, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electric Powered Assisted Steering (EPAS) and are made available in 7 different exterior colors.

- Jaguar XE 2L Petrol Pure (197 BHP) : Rs. 39.90 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
- Jaguar XE 2L Petrol Portfolio (237 BHP) : Rs. 46.50 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
The Jaguar XE will be locally manufactured at the JLR’s plant in Pune.
