BMW has launched its luxury sedan, 7-Series in India at Rs. 1.11 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car was launched at the 2016 Auto Expo.
The all-new BMW 7-Series is available in both diesel (BMW 730Ld) and petrol (BMW 750Li) variants. The BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence and the BMW 730Ld M Sport will be locally produced at BMW’s Chennai plant while the BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence will be available as a CBU. The all-new BMW 7-Series is also available in two petrol variants – the BMW 750Li Design Pure Excellence and the BMW 750Li M Sport. They are imported as CBU. Their prices are as follows:
1. BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence – Rs. 1.11 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
2. BMW 730Ld M Sport – Rs. 1.19 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
3. BMW 730Ld Design Pure Excellence (CBU) – Rs. 1.40 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
4. BMW 750Li Design Pure Excellence (CBU) – Rs. 1.50 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
5. BMW 750Li M Sport (CBU) – Rs. 1.55 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new 7-Series is lighter, spacious, luxurious and loaded with lots of gadgets. The new luxury sedan is made available with the option of two powerful powertrains; 3L, straight-six diesel engine which produces 261 BHP and a 4.4L, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that produces 444 BHP.
